Ynnell - The Mystical Princess of Yor (con.)

Ynnell cried for this little girl, and reached out to her with a deep compassion she could not remember ever having felt before. All at once she found herself in the body of the little girl, looking up at this evil man that she now recognized as not the Wizard of Yor, whom she had believed it to be, but instead his evil brother, the Wizard of Nor. As she looked at him a strength flowed into her that she didn't know she had. He noticed it and took a step backward, as if to get away from the strong feeling of love and compassion that flowed from her.

At this point Ynnell said, "You are the Wizard of Nor and now I know that you can have no power over me. You are sick and I pity you. I pray that you may find the peace that I now have, but that is for you to find, for me, it is time now that I go home."

With that, Ynnell found herself back in the cave, looking up at the tall man who had shown her the truth of her pain. She smiled and thanked him for saving her from a life full of hurt and guilt; for showing her the way home and the love that she now knew would exist where ever she went. He smiled also and threw back his hood. There stood the Wizard of Yor, love and joy shinning from his eyes. He took Ynnell into his arms and danced around the cave with her as he sang at the top of his lungs, praising the gods, and feeling the tears of joy streaming down his face.

After they celebrated, the Wizard of You shared with her the story of her capture by the Wizard of Nor when she was so very young. How he had taught her to fear beauty and to hurt with each kindness. How, when he thought she was totally in his control, he had returned her to Yor, hoping to destroy the beauty there, believing that the Wizard of Yor could never send her away, because he loved her so much.

Finally, the Wizard of Yor knew that he must send her to another world, a world where she might learn the difference between good and evil and see how it could reside together in the same place and at the same time. That even in the depth of squalor, kindness could exist, and that in the promise of a good person lay the potential for unhappiness and a broken vow. He knew that sooner or later the truth in all of this would touch her deeply and that at that moment she would be open and vulnerable, and that at that time he would be able to reach her. He waited for a long time for this to happen, never giving up hope, and finally the moment came and Ynnell found her way to his healing cave. And now she knew the story of her life.

"But," Ynnell said, "that's not the whole story. What of my sister, where is she, I don't sense her inside of me anymore."

The wizard looked at her and smiled, "What sister Ynnell? I really don't believe you have one."

Ynnell looked deep inside of herself and found the kindness and beauty she had been hearing and feeling from "her sister" but instead of a sister, she found herself and knew that she had really been there all along.

The End? I think not ... this is just the beginning.
